Napoleon and Snowball in animal farm/ working

The ways that the two characters napoleons and snowball in George Orwell’s animal farm are very different. While snowball used his brain to gain the trust of the animals napoleon used force and fear.

At the battle of the cowshed snowball was in charge and he was fighting bravely. Napoleon was not even mentioned. ” snowball now gave the signal for the charge. He himself dashed straight for jones. ” this shows that snowball was a good leader by being able to command the animals and that he was a brave pig because he did not hesitate when attacking jones.

Snowball was a good speaker and won most of the animals trust using it. While napoleon had to get help from other animals “snowball often won the majority by his brilliant speeches, but napoleon was better at canvassing support for himself” this shows that snowball was smarter and a better speaker while napoleon needed support.
